Workshops

We provide immersive workshops for conference, events and learning spaces designed to get people thinking about climate change in creative and less intimidating ways!

Previous workshop collaborators and clients have included Manchester International Festival, Natural Environment Research Council and Ripples of Hope Festival (RFK Human Rights).

Exhibitions

If you’re after a bespoke installation related to climate change and the environment, or if you want to book our existing pieces, get in touch!

Originally commissioned by The Lowry, our most recent exhibition is ‘Threads’, an immersive audio and QR code installation following the journey of a t-shirt. Currently showing at MFM Kiosk in Media City!

Panels & Speaking

Our Ergon team members have featured on various panels and soap boxes to discuss all things climate crisis. This has ranged from underlining why diversity and inclusivity is essential for climate progress, to what environmental responsibility means in the arts both practically and creatively. We are also available to write opinion pieces upon request.

Our previous appearances include HOME, RFK Human Rights, Climate Press, Zero Carbon Cities, Reform Radio, Carbon Literacy Project and Universities UK.

Performances

As a theatre company, you’d hope we did this!

Our Award-nominated, flagship production ‘The Wicked Problem’, transports audiences to the year 2061 where they act as jury to decide the fate of climate law breaker. This highly immersive show with alternate endings, asks audiences, 'what would you put first, the future of the planet, or your family?’.

First performed at Contact, ‘The Wicked Problem’ was commissioned by Julie’s Bicycle, Arts Admin and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. 90 mins run time.

“Ergon put together a fantastic 20 minute digital segment for our national university mental health conference, setting the stage for a discussion of climate anxiety. They were brilliant to work with: understood the brief and worked under significant time pressure to deliver to it.”
