Ergon meet with academics Kate Guy, Roger Zetter and Glenn Lyons!

Ergon are committed to making work that is factually sound and inspired by scientific research. As a part of that we are continuing to seek out brilliant minds. We would like to thank everyone we have spoken to so far and will go into more detail about each of our meetings at a future date. In the meantime, three of those brilliant minds we have had the pleasure of meeting are as follows…

Kate Guy: Kate is a DPhil in International Relations Candidate (Department of Politics and International Relations). She is also a researcher with the Blavatnik School of Government, a lecturer at University College, and a Manager of the Oxford School of Climate Change.

Roger Zetter: Roger is Emeritus Professor of Refugee Studies, retiring as the fourth Director of the Refugee Studies Centre in September 2011. Journal of Refugee Studies paper, ‘Labelling refugees: forming and transforming a bureaucratic identity’ is one of the most widely cited in refugee studies. For the centenary of Oxford University Press Journals, the paper was selected as one of the 100 most influential papers published over the previous century.

Glenn Lyons: Glenn is the Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at UWE Bristol. His appointment bridges between academia and practice. At a time of significance for the transport sector, the position aims to co-develop and extend transport expertise in relation to understanding and responding to a changing and uncertain mobility landscape, which is shaped by technological possibilities and societal needs and preferences.
